Today is day 9, a film with a soundtrack you love. I planned on doing this post late last night but decided to wait. My plan was to do Forest Gump. I love all the songs on it. I read some posts and low and behold, Maggie already chose it. I had to regroup and think about another choice. I was asked from another blogger what music I love. My reply was that it depends on my mood. For now and forever I shall love the Beatles. Their impact on music, hair, clothing, and society has impacted the world.   The obvious second choice, for me, with that feeling included, is Yesterday

This movie and music is very special to me. I was invited to a women’s retreat on the east coast in May of 2019. I was thrilled to be going for so many reasons. I was going to be able to finally meet two dear friends, in person. It was going to be flying 3,000 miles by myself, which I am not a fan of. I was going to do my first post retirement outing. I was scared and thrilled at the same time. Before the trip I was stricken with an illness that threatened to make the trip an impossibility. The universe had my back and I made the trip. Guess what movie was playing on the plane? Yesterday, of course. I not only watched it on the way there, but also on the way back. I loved it. Such a touching movie.
