Sammi Cox is our host for the Weekend Writing Prompt, and today gives us Newspaper.

The poignant story made it to the newspaper.
The awful racial taunts thrown by the teenagers were now recognized by all.
The high school administration was forced to acknowledge what happened.
Promises were made to investigate the incident.
Texts were blasted to every parent.
Hope was extended to those impacted by the disgusting behavior.
Time passed.
Nothing was done to the perpetrators.
The years is not unfolding well.
