Becky is the hostess of July Tree Squares. All things trees, in any form or function. The only strict rule is, the photo must be in the shape of a square.
These queen palm trees are the only trees in my yard my spouse and I did not plant. They were half this height ten years ago when planted. Even with a Little Giant ladder fully extended and my 12 foot saw handle, I cannot reach the fronds any more. It costs a pretty penny to get them trimmed. They need a trim now and I have to find a good trimmer. Many will not do queen palms.
oh my yes not easy to reach. Can you hire one of those clever machines, cherry picker I think their name is or maybe scissor lift, that would take you up there so you can trim

Funny you should say that. On my bucket list is to use a cherry picker. Everyone thinks I am crazy.

I’d love to use one too!! I say go for it – tick something off on your bucket list and you may get to trim your trees too 🙂 win/win I’d say

Hello! I’m visiting from Becky’s gallery of tree squares. Do the trees cause problems with the power lines?

The one under the power lines is cut by the electric company as needed.
