QUESTIONS: A mixed bag today
1) What do you think of the idea of the ‘greater good’ principle? My problem with this idea is who gets to decide. As people are losing jobs and homes, politicians are giving themselves raises. Their opinion is that the greater good is them having more money and I couldn’t disagree more.
2) Do you enjoy riding a roller coaster or other amusement park type ride? I used to love roller coasters. The faster, the better. I went with my kids and grandkids all the time. Being close to three huge amusement parks here in Southern CA, meant there was always some place to enjoy the rides. I purchased annual passes to Disneyland and Knotts many moons ago. I don’t remember the date, but I remember the pain one day when getting off a ride in total agony. I know it was post my fibromyalgia diagnosis. I knew it was never to be part of my life again. I am OK with the great memories I have.
3) Which musical instrument is the most annoying to you personally? Any instrument being played by a beginner. Forty plus years ago, when my daughter was learning the piccolo, I was sure my eardrums were going to explode. You should never play a piccolo in a house.
4) Would you rather have a vivid imagination or a photographic memory if you had to choose just one? I’d have to say a vivid imagination. Being able to think up new ideas is a special gift for me.
GRATITUDE SECTION (always optional) Feel free to share fun plans for this season that you might have. Especially now that many places are lifting restrictions and travel is a bit easier. I am more of a homebody at this stage of my life. My seasonal plans are to get outside early every day and play with Annie. Her joy is fetching one of her toys at least 20 times. I am grateful for my backyard. It is not too large or too small. It is visited most summer days by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.
