Fandango’s Provocative Question – Regrets?

FPQ
Fandango’s
Provocative Question this week is:
What is your biggest regret in life?

The question is difficult because all my major decisions have led me to this place in my life. I like where I am now.

That being said, I do regret not visiting my grandparents more when my children were little babies. Life was very difficult and we had little money for gas for the long trip. The joy my grandparents felt for having the fourth generation in their lives was awesome. I did what I could at the time, but now I regret not visiting them more often. I made sure, when my grandkids came along, to take them to AZ to visit my mom as often as I could. We changed my mom’s name to GG so the little ones could say it easily. My mother adored my grandkids and loved being called GG (great-grandma).

I feel like I learned from my previous error and made better choices. I hope when I am a great-grandma (G-d willing) I will be able to see my great grandkids even more often.
