Melanie is the host of Share Your World.
She typically asks four questions and we get to answer letting others know a little bit more of how our minds work.
QUESTIONS:
1) Which would you rather throw away: Love or Money? This is a trick question in my mind. You can’t throw away true love, because it will come back. You can easily throw away money.
2) Do you believe you should do one thing a day that scares you? I don’t want to do anything that really scares me. My heart can’t take it.
3) What’s the last thing you do at night? Wonder why I can’t sleep
4) If you could own a mythical creature (unicorn, phoenix, etc.), which one would you pick? (A nod to the soon ending 2021 A-Z Blogging Challenge, my topic this year “Mythical Creatures”) I truly wouldn’t want to OWN a mythical creature. But, I sure would enjoy it if a unicorn decided to visit often. (Preferably when no one else was around to claim it.)

Thank you for Sharing Your World Lauren! Annie looks very loved and very contented! Thanks for sharing some photos of her, she’s beautiful! Wonderful answers to all the questions! It’s true we shouldn’t presume to ‘own’ a mythical creature (as if, right? 😉 ) but to have one visit us would be a pleasure indeed! Have a stupendous week Lauren!

Is this your house? I love that fish rug!!!! And Annie, of course. That was my cat’s name as well.

Yes. My back yard. Can you tell I like to be creative with my decorations and my attempt at a wall mural?

I enlarged the photo to see it all.. your art and the intriguing black and white wall. Is it a rug or a painting or a mural? Is your entire house this interesting?

I painted the wall mural a long time ago. It is my attempt to follow the wonderful artist Leo Possilico. The bottom was filled with random letters but they wore off. The Burns piece of art on the wall I found at a thrift store for 7 dollars. It is lacquered so it is safe out back. I purchased Burns artwork for my mom because she lived in AZ and my stepdad’s last name was the same. There are shells glued to the top of the block wall. I add whimsy wherever I can. It makes me happy.

But, your Annie also looks a lot like my dog Diego, as well.

Okay.. I went back and looked and see it is a mural. I interpreted the shells on the top of the wall as fringe on a rug before. Yes, I like it a lot.

Thank you. Between my key lime spray painted “finds” in the upper yard, my blue metallic “finds” in the lower yard, and my bowling ball garden, I can easily say no one else has a similar yard. LOL
