Feb 2 – I Love My Sewing Room

I love my sewing room. It is such a happy place for me. I have worked hard to make my little room a pleasant place to spend hour after hour.

I have not missed the need to watch the clock to see how much time I have left to sew. There is no limit on my time now.  Another gift of retirement.

Not only is my room an enjoyable space inside but it has a lovely view outside.  I can look out the large window to the attached balcony. My Jacaranda tree covers the left side. Even when it is not in bloom, the psithurism is enjoyable. It is a different story when the Santa Ana winds blow through. Then the sound is more like a blustery argument between the outdoor curtains and the tree.
