QUESTIONS
Do you enjoy skiing or ice skating or if it’s warm where you are, hiking or enjoying outdoor sports? I do not enjoy the cold. It physically hurts me. I am not up to sports, unless you call playing fetch with my dog a sport.
Do you give to charities or homeless that you might encounter, during this time of year, more than you do otherwise? I rarely leave my house, so no. I typically donate to specific charities as opposed to those I may “encounter.”
What is the most enjoyable activity you engage in during December? Is it a tradition for you and your family? Lighting the candles at Hanukkah brings me the most joy. My grands have promised to sent me a picture of them lighting them this year.
What changes will C-19 bring to your festive celebrations this year? No get togethers, in person. I shall still light my candles every night. I miss my family very much, just like the rest of the world. I am doing my best to stay healthy so when we come out of this, we can reconnect.
I don’t do sports either now!
Hope you have happy holidays.

Both my dogs and I give up on fetch about two or three minutes in. Like each of them are enthusiastic about it for a few minutes then they’re all, “Yeah, that’s enough.” So it wouldn’t be a sport in our house. I know dogs that could play fetch all day, but not around here. ^_^

I started counting Annie’s fetches after she was hurt. When she got back to the 20’s I was so happy. She loves to fetch. Since my retirement is is now a multiple ties a day activity.

Thank you Lauren for Sharing Your World! I LOVE that badge and may borrow it for next week’s SYW if that’s ok? I’ll make sure you get the credit! If someone is living with chronic pain, sports are kinda off the menu (IMHO), I don’t ‘do’ sports either and the cold? Forget about it. Far too much pain and a lot ‘sharper’. Arthritis and joint deterioration grow teeth during the cold! Giving is difficult during the virus, as is getting together with our friends or family. It sounds like you’ve found some ways to enjoy the traditions any way. Such beautiful traditions too! I do hope next year sees the decline of this awful pandemic. Have a great week!

Thanks Melanie. The badges are ones that I see and collect because of your prompt inspiration. I did not make them, I just “found them” and saved them. Go for it and enjoy.
I am trying to stay as hopeful as I can.
