Melanie’s Share Your World prompt this week is again joined by Roger Shipp. I am enjoying the two genres of questions. While it has been a very long time since I read and later watched Harry Potter movies, they have forever been etched in my brain.
1.You have just been gifted a magic wand that specializes in completing household chores. You can request the completion of only two household chores. Which chores would you assign your wand to complete? I would want my wand to clean the toilets, because face it, no one wants to do that chore. The other chore I would assign the wand would be to vacuum my floors. I don’t normally mind doing the vacuuming, but right now with all the ash, it really should be done daily.
2.At the local Wizards-R-Us store there was a sale on handshake shockers, instant darkness pellets, and levitation pills. Which of these ‘party thrillers’ are you more likely to purchase? I would choose levitation pills for sure. Not having to drive places sounds like the best “party thriller” to me.
3.In the alley behind Wizards-R-Us, there was a tradesman selling a Love Potion. The sales pitch was too much for you and you yielded and purchased one vial. What do you do with it? I would hold the vial for a “rainy day.” LOL
4.You are the Great Clearinghouse Winner of a new ‘good luck’ potion – Felix Felicis. It has to be used within the next thirty days or its potency becomes diminished. Do you use it? Do you give it to a friend in need? I first thought I would use it to help keep me a little safer from the virus. Being a rational person, I know science is more important than luck. So, I would have to say that I would buy lottery tickets to use to my good luck potion. Maybe my dream of a little house on the beach could come true.
5.If everyone spoke their mind, would this world be a better or worse place? Why? I think people need to keep certain things to themselves. It could be very hurtful to spew out your opinions when not asked or required.
6.Can achieving nothing make a person happy? I am not sure how anyone can achieve nothing. Now I do believe it is very possible to achieve nothing good.
7.How do you know if you love someone enough to marry them? Not to be a pessimist, but I don’t believe you ever know for sure. You hope you both want the same things for your future. You hope you grow in the same direction. You hope you share common beliefs. But in the end, you just don’t know for sure.
OMG – I totally forgot the gratitude section.

I am grateful for the sky looking less yellow.
I am grateful for my grandson’s handling a difficult situation.
I am grateful for friends and family who chat with me.
