Fandango’s One Word Challenge – Aquire

Fandango gives us a word a day to write about. Today’s word is acquire.

 

 

It has taken me 46 years to acquire my salt and pepper collection. The last few days I have been working hard to downsize my acquisitions. I have successfully set aside over 200 sets to be gifted, sold, or donated. I have cleared off two complete shelves in my purge. I cleaned all the sets and all the shelves. It made me feel good when I finally finished.

I asked my spouse what he thought of the scaled down shelves. He looked into the living room, saw all the ousted sets, and said if I was happy with it, then that was all that mattered. Good answer.
