QUESTIONS:

How spontaneous are you?   Right now, of course, there is no such thing as being spontaneous. But prior to the pandemic I would say I was pretty spontaneous. I’d like to drop what I was doing and visit family or friends at the drop of the hat. I enjoyed hopping in the car and going for a drive to nowhere. Spontaneity was a requirement in teaching. Plans sometimes changed without rhyme or reason.

How flirtatious would you say you are and if that is not the word you would use then try the alternatives of ‘teasing or playful’ either way – how much are you of this?  I have never been a flirtatious person with someone I do not know. When I knew for sure someone was interested in me (both times) I became very flirtatious.

How serious are you as a person? I am more serious than I should be. I am learning to worry less and enjoy the present more.

Do you think the older we become certain emotions are easier to handle – say as an example ‘grief?’  I don’t believe some emotions like grief are easier to handle. In fact, I think we have more opportunities for grief as we age. I do think some emotions like jealousy and anxiety are less difficult to deal with as we age. Sometimes age brings wisdom.

What is the most adventurous thing you have done to date? The most adventurous was probably white water rafting on Niagara River in Canada. That was pretty scary. It was the second from the top the danger scale.  I also went parasailing on Big Bear Lake, which was frightening on the way up, but once suspended in air it was glorious. For a birthday present from my daughter, we went in a small biplane and the pilot decided to do loops which scared the crud out of me.

What’s the craziest or riskiest thing you have ever done and simply got away with it or gotten caught doing it? That would most likely be getting too frisky on a ride at Disneyland.

What do you think the future is of dating and other ‘other’ now that social distancing has become part of your life? Will your life ‘up close and personal’ with people now be different? Luckily, dating is not a part of my life right now. My life has changed now that I cannot hug and cuddle my grandkids.

How different do you really think you are to the next person – are you prim and proper, or straight laced and serious, wild and abandoned or rebellious and controversial? I am prim and proper with a streak of naughty, serious with a streak of sassy, not wild, rebellious when I feel a wrong has been done, controversial when I won’t go along with the crowd

During this time of global concern how has your thinking changed with regards the planet, conservation, climate issues …..or has it not changed one little bit? I have been happy that the planet has been able to breathe in this time of isolation. I believe in science and I know we are in a period of gobal warming that has increased due to mankind’s abuse. I have learned that I don’t need to shop, or buy things, just to buy them. My reduced consumption is good for the world. IMHO

What ‘topical issues’ considered ‘taboo’ by society are you deeply passionate with and about to the point of doing something about it? I belive my issues are only taboo by certain members of society. I believe two consenting adults no matter their gender, race, or nationality should be allowed to enter into marriage.

What’s more important and or is there a difference between ‘Friendship and Companionship and if so what is that difference? Unless you are talking about an intimate relationship, I see these as the same thing. I like spending time with my friends. They are my companions.

What is your passion with regards writing genres – 1] what is your chosen genre and 2] what is the genre you might like to write about but lack confidence to start?  I write mostly for myself. I have written journals and gratitudes for years. I dream of writing children’s stories. I have things to say that are out of the norm, but my experiences as a child.
